The 2020 year has been challenging for consumers, producers, and businesses across the globe. While many continue to battle against various challenges on the ground and at the market front, it is now the need of the hour for organizations to evolve and move past the challenges and focus on ‘New Adapt and Renew Strategies’ to build their resilience and ensure lasting recovery.
The ‘Fairtrade Asia Tea Webinar’ aims to facilitate discussion between various Fairtrade Tea Stakeholders, to discuss the evolving world-wide trends and technologies for supply chain revival and to come up with innovative ways to respond to the crisis.
The webinar will provide an overall outlook on the effect of COVID 19 across Asia with a focus on the tea sector by the NAPP COO. It will facilitate an impactful session from Fairtrade International on ‘Workers’ Rights and Living Wages’ work for Fairtrade Tea workers followed by insights from Fairtrade Foundation (FTUK) on the Current Trend, Challenges and Opportunities for FT tea in UK Market; Adapt and Renew Strategies to promote Fairtrade Tea.
Tea producers in India and Sri Lanka will present on the current challenges, risk mitigations through Fairtrade benefits, and how the producers are working on rebuilding their local and global supply chains and adapting to innovative technologies and new marketing methods.
The webinar will end with an interactive session between the attendees and the speakers.
We extend this invitation to all the stakeholders, global tea lovers, communities, and supporters to join us at the Webinar!
